The valley of
KwaNgcolosi is situated alongside Inanda Dam, is fertile and has
easy access to water.
People are encourage to grow their own
foods. Individual
gardens need fencing for protection from goats and cows.

One community garden
has been established (55 individuals garden in one area) and
assistance is given to establish smaller gardens near the houses.

It is hoped to introduce fruit tree
orchards into the area together with training for their upkeep and
maintenance. |
|
This will provide a
valuable source of nutrition as well as income generation.
